Tip: Using Hotmail in Outlook with Outlook connector
With Microsoft Office Outlook Connector, you can use Microsoft Outlook 2003/2007 to access and manage your online hotmail or windows Live mail accounts, including e-mail messages, contacts and calendars. This download is freely available from Microsoft's web site and only takes a minute to install and setup. Once setup you can send, receive and compose all of your emails for hotmail and live accounts from within outlook and avoid having to use the clumsy web interface. The outlook connector will automatically synchronize your web-based accounts with Outlook. After installation you will see the additional "Outlook Connector" menu item in Outlook as shown below. To setup the connector simple select "Add a New Account" from the menu and enter your hotmail email address and password in the prompt shown below.
